Moloa`a
Bay, Kauai
Discover the peaceful beauty of this secluded
bay on the Northern Shore of Kauai.
Moloa`a
Bay has one of the few beaches not
accessible to the public. Enjoy the 'Garden
Islands' ocean and mountain views from the
wrap-around lanai of a romantic vacation house
rental such as
Moloa`a
Bay Pole House. If you decide
to leave the house you can travel
further north to hike along tropical trails
edging the Na Pali Coast
or head south for 50 foot viability scuba
diving or surfing. Kauai
has a more laid-back pace where you'll find
relaxing easy.

Hot Springs
Benton
Hot Springs is
a rustic, serene ranch nestled in a valley
surrounded by mountains. About 35 miles from
Bishop and Mammoth in the rugged, small town
of Benton you'll find a treasure of a Bed
& Breakfast and campsites (each with it's
own hot springs hot tub) which has been in
the same family for over 80 years. Though
the surroundings are rustic, amenities such
as satellite television, robes and refrigerators
are in each room. The natural hot springs
hot tubs are clean and sanitary and just beautiful.
If you like shopping there is one antique
store that the owner will gladly open when
you want to pay it a visit, or Bishop is only
about 35 miles away.
Sycamore
Mineral Springs Resort is a gorgeous,
peaceful little resort in Avila Valley that
caters to relaxation and romance. Each of
the rooms has its own private balcony spa.
(TIP: Be sure to request your preference of
the sulfur spa or fresh water spa) On the
property you'll find additional hot tubs surrounded
by Sycamores, the Gardens of Avila Restaurant,
a Labyrinth & Meditation Garden, a spa
with facialist and masseuse and area hiking
trails. A Yoga facility is scheduled to open
in Spring of 2004.

Virgin
Islands
The Virgin Islands
are known for their crystal-clear waters,
gorgeous beaches and sunny weather. Activities
such as kayaking, hiking through tropical
forest, world-class diving, sailing and sunbathing
can fill the day. Many honeymooners enjoy
the British Virgin Islands which are adjacent
to the US Virgin Islands and comprise 36 islands
principally: Tortola, Virgin Gorda, Anegada
and Jost Van Dyke. The US Virgin Islands with
the principle islands of St. John, St. Croix
and St. Thomas all have hotels, resorts, rental
houses and condominiums. St. John consists
of 2/3 park land and offers great beaches,
hiking and specialty shopping. St. Thomas
hosts the most visited port in the Caribbean,
and downtown Charlotte Amalie offers elegant
dining & nightlife and great shopping.
St. Croix's is perfect for honeymooners who

Cambria/San
Simeon
The Central Coast has
much to offer and Cambria is a perfect place
to take it all in.
Cambria
is a charming village that will remind you
of simpler times. The Cambria Wine
Shop on Main Street is a must if
you enjoy wine. Interesting wines from around
the world are available for tasting &
purchase and Dennis the shops owner will dazzle
you with his wine knowledge and his humor.
This quaint town has lovely boutique shops,
antiques stores and casual and fine dining
restaurants. Along Moonstone Beach Drive you'll
find beach side accommodations such as the
Fog
Catcher Inn that are just delightful
and remarkably reasonable.
Near
Cambria is San Simeon, famous
for the extraordinary
Hearst Castle, a must if you like architecture,
history, antiquities or Old Hollywood. The
scenic Bob Jones bike/walking trail is a pleasant
path to visit Fat Cats cafe
for breakfast on Avila Beach - Port
San Luis . Enjoy a 2nd-story view
overlooking the ocean and a dandy seafood
meal at the Pier side restaurant in
Pismo
Beach. Downtown San Luis
Obispo is full of charming shops
and galleries. There are plenty of towns near
Cambria with winery's that are open for tasting's
such as Paso Robles.

Tahiti
Get ready for crystal
clear blue-green waters. World class scuba
diving and snorkeling are popular activities
here - also 4x4 safaris and outrigger canoeing
if you want to stay on top of the water. The
airport of Tahiti is on the same island as
the capital city of Papette. From Papette
there are island hopping cruse ships that
travel out of the Port de Papette that take
you to each of the islands for brief visits.
The other islands of Tahiti are Moorea, Bora
Bora, Huahine, Raiatea and Taha’a. Rates
may be more reasonable on Tahiti than on the
other islands which will require an additional
inter-island flight and play host to many
exclusive hotels. To check out places to stay
in Tahiti go to: Tahiti.com
or Air
Tahiti-Nui. Tahiti Nui has newer airbus
planes serving Los Angeles that often feature
reasonable rates. The food is fabulous just
about everywhere. One guest wrote: "We
never found a bad place to eat. We enjoyed
getting food from hot trucks that came to
the town center each night and set up to serve
everyone. It is quite the gathering."

Waikiki,
Hawaii
On Waikiki you
can spend a relaxing time going from beach
to restaurant to hotel and back again. If
you're staying on Waikiki you'll be walking
distance from the beaches as well as the nightlife
and shopping. Waikiki resort hotels such as
the
Halekulani Hotel or
Outrigger
Waikiki often have galleries,
restaurants, bars and boutiques all in one
property - so you never have to venture very
far. (Note: if the hotel features an outdoors
band you may want to ask for a room on the
lower levels. Balcony seats, without the crowd.)
Points of interest: Pearl Harbor, the Dole
Plantation, a Paradise Cove Luau, Iolani Palace,
Diamond Head, snorkeling at Hanauma Bay and
surfing the warm Pacific waters with the winter
months bringing the best waves to the North
Shore.

New
Orleans, Louisiana
Bourbon Street
is happening 24-hours a day. The food and
shopping and local flavor are great fun. One
of the top hotels in New Orleans and on Bourbon
is the
Royal
Sonesta, a 5-Star hotel with
a ton of southern charm. Points of Interest:
Jackson Square, the
French
Market, and
Preservation
Hall if you're into jazz. Ride the
St. Charles Ave. street car out to
Commander's
Palace serving up 25 cent martinis
at lunch and follow it up with a walking tour
of the Garden District.
Harrah's
in the French Quarter offers the only gambling
on land. Dr. Wagner's Honey Island
swamp
tour.
Cemetery and
voodoo walking tours.
The food is
incredible everywhere you go in New Orleans.
Dining points of interest: The French
Market restaurant on Decatur has
balcony seating to enjoy the jazz, amazing
crab cakes and charbroiled oysters. Cafe
Beignet for coffee. Gamay
Bistro for fried chicken. Gabrielle's
and the Gumbo shop
in the French Quarter. Dickie Brennens
Bourbon House Seafood (Oysters anyway
you can get them with a special hot
cocktail sauce - Dickie's is also known as
the best breakfast place in town, plan for
2 hours - they also invented Banana's Foster)
Desire Oyster Bar at the
Royal Sonesta. Lafette's Blacksmith
voted the *Best Dive Bar* by the Travel Channel
because it doesn't have electric lighting
- only candle light to see your sweetheart
by.

Capri,
Italy
A recent honeymooner
told us that the next time they traveled back
to Italy, they would skip everything else
and only return to Capri. Capri has fascinated
our great politicians, artists and writers
for centuries. Here you will find historical
Villas, the Blue Grotto,"
la Piazzetta", the panoramically
perfect view from Mount Solaro, marina Piccola
and so much more. The island of Capri overlooks
the Mediterranean Sea and the Gulf of Naples
with Anacapri being the most unspoiled part
of the island. If you really want to splash
out, check out the 5-Star,
Capri
Palace Hotel & Spa on Anacapri
where some of the rooms come with their own
pool.
Greve in Chianti
Italy
If you're looking to stay near Florence but
don't want to necessarily be in the city, Greve is perfect
for you. Greve is 25 k South of Florence. It's
distinctive views are unlike any other in the famed Tuscany
regions. One of the finest villa's in the Chianti
region is the
Villa Bordoni. Villa Bordoni is a lovely and romantic 16th century
villa, nestled in the rolling hills above the town of Greve,
the capital of the Chianti Classico region of Tuscany.
Villa Bordoni was recently listed as a Condé Nast
Traveller's "60 Best New Hotels in the World" for 2006.
