Paris, France
Good advice for the Paris traveler is to
visit in the early Spring to avoid the
longer lines of Summer when visiting such
places like the Louvre (get your ticket at
the side door - no lines!) and Versailles.
Also on the list of fun things to see or do:
Notre Dame, a show at the Moulin Rouge and a
cruise on the Seine. For Shopping visit
Printtemps. If your staying near/in
the Montmartre (painters square) take a 6am
walk around, visit the Sacre Coeur, have
some coffee and watch the town wake up.

Las Vegas, Nevada
Las Vegas has much more to offer than just
gambling. There are plenty of elegant
restaurants, world class performers & shows
to see, and even museums like the Guggenheim
Museum at Venetian featuring world-class art
exhibits. For contemporary yet
über sexy
accommodations, check out the Hard Rock.
Bally's Hotel may run you a bit less and is
quite nice especially the rooms with nice
views and jacuzzi tubs plus it's close to
everything.

Iceland
A driving tour on the Ring Road will take
you around the country to enjoy the people
of Iceland as well as it's mountains,
glaciers and ocean cliffs. Visit the
Geothermal spa 'Blue Lagoon' and enjoy the
lava warmed waters. Also to do: whale
watching, Kayaking, hiking, biking,
Icelandic horseback riding, dinner cruises,
snowmobiling - but do dress warm, even in
the summer.

Bali
Ubud is Bali's cultural capital and is
center for the islands history, music, art
(such as the Neka Gallery) and
dance. Venture out by taking treks through the jungle, rice
terraces or visit the many temples that
surround this peaceful island.
Alam Sari is a hotel loved by Frommers
for being "the very model of what a modern
Balinese hotel should be ...Everything Alam
Sari does is with thought towards local
economy, ecology and culture."

Belize
In Belize the
rainforest meets the ocean. Enjoy some
of the best diving and reefs anywhere.

Greece
On Greece the islands
are a must to see: Santorini, Rhodes, Symi,
Crete and Mykonos are among favorites. There
are yacht or sailing tours that can be
coordinated with world-class hotel stays such
as
The Astra in Santorini. A nice
resource on the web is a site put together by
a resident of Greece for over 30 years called
www.greektravel.com. There you'll find
such tips as where to buy the best Ouzo and
how to plan for your trip. Visit his
daughters equally useful and helpful site at
